Juhi Chawla, it seems, finally has a befitting answer all her own to friend and business partner, Shah Rukh Khan's imposing home, Mannath, at Mumbai's bandstand, Bandra. On a trip to Alibag, recently, we caught a glimpse of what local villagers refer to as Juhi's bungalow. She's been spotted visiting the bungalow now and then, lending credence to the theory that it belongs to her. Work on the tastefully constructed hilltop bungalow, complete with a dome on top that affords one a view of the adjacent Mandwa Beach and the vicinity, is almost done. Juhi's new neighbors at Alibag, include filmmaker Nasir Hussain, the Godrejs and Vijay Mallya, the last of who has a sprawling bunglow at Rahatle. So Juhi's bound to find herself in distinguished company when she dashes to her Alibag retreat of a weekend. |
